Chunky basil pesto  

Chunky basil pesto

Skip the store-bought pesto and make your own fresh homemade chunky basil pesto. All you need is parmesan cheese, basil, pine nuts and olive oil! You can chop nuts using an ordinary knife but doing it with your food processor saves a lot of time and energy. Add the pinenuts, basil and chilli process until roughly chopped. With the motor running, add the olive oil quickly through the small food tube, followed by the Parmesan. Season well with salt and pepper.
