Great pasta roller
| KimS | Sep 2021This is my 3rd kitchenaid pasta roller. I have one I use for pasta, that is still going strong after many years of use. The second one I bought to use for rolling out polymer clay. I'm sure that use will void any warranties, but actually it is exceptional for this job - I've had very heavy use of my second roller for 4 years. I've just had to buy a new one as one of the plastic scrapers broke on my second one. It is unfortunate that KitchenAid doesn't offer these as replacement parts (totally my fault that this broke due to the way I was using it at the time). But I will continue to use these rollers for the forseeable future.
Easy set-up, Easy to use
| ArmiLu | Sep 2021I was gifted a stand mixer, and then discovered I could buy all of these attachments!I had never made my own pasta before, but it was so simple to roll it out with this attachment, I just can't imagine how anyone could use a manual machine! The key thing is to make sure your pasta is the right consistency - too damp/wet and it WILL stick. If it does, then stop rolling, add some more flour to your pasta, and then roll. My only regret is buying this stand alone and not in the bundle with the cutters - we never eat dried pasta in this house now!Wonderful attachment and highly recommended!
