It munted the blades - and the spoon! So all I was looking for was a replacement smoothie-maker that did much the same job as my old machine. But I have been thrilled to discover this blender makes a far superior morning shake than its predecessor. The smoothie is creamier with no lumps and I can even include nuts and seeds which I couldn't before. I was annoyed when the spoon incident happened but it has had a most beneficial outcome! Thank you K150 3-speed from Kitchenaid!
