Cleaning a blender: where to start

You've made your delicious smoothie and you have a dirty blender and stubborn stains, what's next? Washing your blender is easy with a simple-to-use self-cleaning cycle.

The blender jar, blades, easy-off lid, and removable handle grip are all dishwasher safe for added convenience. and easy cleaning. The blender jug can be easily cleaned and rinsed while still attached to the base, or individually. 

How to clean blender blades

To clean the jug while attached to the base, first remove the jug off of the base and it half full with warm water, and add 1 or 2 drops of dishwashing liquid. Attach the jug to the base and secure to the lid and lid centre cap. Turn the control dial to the cleaning program and press start and let it run for 5 to 10 seconds. Remove the jug, empty contents and rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly.

To clean the jug individually, wash it in the dishwasher flipped upside down or hand wash with soapy water, rinse, and wipe dry. Now your blender is ready to blend your best tasting smoothie creations.

To clean the blender base, control band, cord, lid, and ingredient cup: unplug the Blender before cleaning. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, and dry with a soft cloth.

IMPORTANT: Hand wash the lid and ingredient cup for best results.

NOTE: Clean the Blender thoroughly after every use. Do not immerse the Blender base or cord in water. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads to avoid scratching.
