After years of buying other brands that only lasted a year or two I figured I deserved something bigger, stronger and built to last. No more wasting money on cheap loud appliances. This works like a dream. Effortless and quiet and I love the splash protector. It simply clips on and stays on. My cakes and sponges are whipped in half the time and I can actually talk and be heard while the mixer is on even in high speed. Making my frosting was also done in half the time and more than doubled in size. That's no problem with the large bowl. Now I can save time by mixing up four cakes instead of one at a time. This awesome piece of machinery is sure to out live me going by the reviews so my daughter will inherit it and I know she will love it to bits.

It never struggles to mix ingredients, and mixes everything evenly - nothing stays on the bottom of the bowl! Previous mixers I had always struggled to mix one batch of cookie dough, this one does it easily! The bowl-lift mechanism is fantastic too. I love the plastic guard, it makes sure everything goes into the bowl while you're mixing and you don't get the big cloud of icing sugar everywhere. It's a quiet mixer for its size and it has a decent amount of power. Its weight makes sure it stays steady on your bench top and doesn't bounce away while you're mixing! I'm excited to try the other attachments as well, I love that I can save on kitchen space with this mixer and is attachments - I don't need to have a separate pasta maker!

The bowl lift is a dream for making dough and everything else I used to make on my old mixer . The candy apple colour is glorious and I look forwards to using thrips for years to come.

I got the bigger one so I can make multiple batches of things. It was so worth it. Now I can make triple or quadruple batches of cookies, muffins, etc. I bake a lot and for a lot of people! I’ll never stray from kitchen aid. They are reliable, classic, and the perfect baking component.

We have not purchased any attachments. But the mixing of dough and cookie mix has been great with the extra large bowl. We also have a smaller Kitchen Aid mixer that we are going to pass on to our Son's family. Best purchase we made.
