I have all pro line kitchen aid appliances on my counter top, they look stunning together an underlying reason for wanting this, however I wouldn’t just purchase this just for its prettiness and compared vitamix models as well. the power is amazing it takes no time at all to break down items and cleaning this is so so simple. I use it most mornings for my smoothies using frozen fruit which is what broke my last blender as it couldn’t handle. It is a little noisy but what blender isn’t.

Blended iced drinks, juices, pesto made with ease and the self-cleaning option is brilliant. Design is great - for its size it looks good. Didn’t blend ice drinks quite as smoothly as our old discontinued KitchenAid blender, but obviously very powerful and capable. But then, two weeks after purchase, making the KitchenAid chili paste recipe, a horrible high-pitched metallic shriek came from the blender and it hasn’t worked since. Am hugely disappointed and angry that after the expense of this item, it failed after using exactly as directed for only two weeks. Flabbergasted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nessie from Fragile jug design Inside of thermal jug cracked under normal use making a protein shake. Refused to cover it under warranty. As a family this was our backup blender as have a ten year old Vitamix. The Kitchenaid blender didn’t even last 2 years. Extremely disappointing is an understatement. Kitchenaid expect me to pay a huge amount for a new jug which I think will likely crack an leak again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Supergal from Motor burnt out for the 2nd time I really love this blender but I am afraid to use it. The motor burnt out leaving black powder on my kitchen top when I made soup. This happened on the first month of purchased. I had a new one to one replacement. Since then I hesitated using. After months and because the warranty of 1 year is coming to an end. I tried again making soup with the new unit. This time I use the manual mode. Same issue again. I’m now with my 3rd new replacement unit and I’ve been hesitating to make my next bowl of soup. Customer service said that they can refund me. What am I going to do if it burns again and warranty had ended? Or do I avoid making soup. I didn’t expect such performance for the price I paid for this blender and not able to get a refund. I am not a heavy user. In fact I’ve only used around 5 times in total since I purchased the first unit.

I have a few kitchenaid appliances now never disappointed with the quality and design !! Mine is all of them in a beautiful candu apple red colours looks so beautiful on my kitchen countertop like a Ferrari in the kitchen

My blender has smooth contours and is a beautiful candy-apple red, making it a great addition to my kitchen bench-top. I regularly make fruit or green smoothies with this very powerful blender and the smoothies never have lumps or particles. I am now experimenting with different soup recipes which are simple to prepare and are ready to eat in 5 minutes. The blender is easy to clean with a drop of dish liquid and warm water on the self-clean setting. Couldn't be more convenient - I'm very happy with my KitchenAid blender.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rororo from Not to bad Great little machine, but started having problems with it within 18months. The motor is a beast. Would take a lot to damage the motor. However our jug started leaking into our base causing rust. Trying to fix the problem now with kitchen aid. It will be determined on how they are with customer service that will matter. $1200 for a blender is a lot of money invested into milkshakes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bananarama from Not just a sexy looking blender The blender is earning its spot in our kitchen as our vegan family of 5 has been using it multiple times a day to whip up ultra healthy summer delights from all fruit nice creams to green superfood smoothies. We haven't yet tried making a nut butter yet we are confident it will be a "piece of cake" for the 3,5 hp engine. We're happy and highly recommend.
