Rated 5 out of 5 by justkatz from Great Performance I always need a handheld beater when making things and I finally bought a Kitchen Aid one and it is brillant. I love how I now have beaters that are for beating and whisk that will do my cream ever so lightly. What is also great is there is a blender that attaches to the hand mixer so no need of a separate blender now. It is easy in your hand and not heavy at all when having to whip or beat something for a while. There is a very handy accessory bag to put your beaters into. No more trying to find them in my drawer. Perfection. What's not to love re the colour also but for me it is the great performance of this hand mixer. 9 Speeds and they all work a treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AliB from Perfect Handheld Mixer I am a person who does not really like Kitchen appliances. I have the basics - toaster, electric kettle, blender and that's it for electric applicances. I've had many appliances in the past and found that I just didn't use them enough to justify the expense and cupboard space. The KitchenAid Artisan 9 Speed Hand Mixer is a perfect little mixer. It does everything I need it to do, takes up minimal space in my pantry and produces excellent results. I would highly recommend this appliance to anyone who has limited storage space for a stand mixer or limited budget. It's a great little appliance and I love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Peanut from Not supposed for any kind of dough I bought this just over 2.5 yrs but it burnt out while mixing 300g dough, it always had trouble on doughs, I just never thought it would burn out since I trusted the brand and the machine. So if you only want to use to whip and love kitchenaid, you could invest in this otherwise cheaper brands would do the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Noels from Very happy:)) Have been waiting to put my new mixer to use with my Christmas baking. My shortbread is always good ( if I can say so myself!!) but I think this year’s batch is the best yet. Creaming the butter and sugar was a breeze and I didn’t lose butter flying out of the bowl, with the slow start and gradual speed increments. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suzanne from Little Powerhouse My Kitchenaid hand mixer was purchased to replace a budget range stand mixer I had for many years. I do a lot of cooking including making our own sourdough twice a week. The Kitchenaid hand miexer is powerful but light and has no trouble tacking everything I throw at it. Very happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by FEDUP from KitchenAid - Artisan Hand Mixer KHM926 At first this was a brilliant little mixer which I used about once a month over the past 3 years. Then it started to make a horrid noise, beating slowed and it hurt my wrist to use from the vibration. Researched to find out the WORM GEAR is worn. There are NO replacement parts available for this machine...at all...worldwide ! I phoned Kitchenaid and they said there are no worm gears and there will not be anymore as they have been discontinued. Stores are still selling this hand mixer but not advising customers that once the gears that turn the beaters go faulty then you just have to throw the machine in the bin. Very disappointed as you can buy spare parts for stand mixers but not for this machine, because when it worked it worked well. I expected better spares availability from KitchenAid !

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dee C from Light A lightweight mixer that does a good job on light mixtures. But is unsteady on high volume thicker mixtures and jumps around. Also the beaters are very short so mixture tends to spiral up the beaters towards the body of the machine causing problems. The dough hooks are OK. Overall it does what it needs to do on light quick mixtures, probably OK on packet mixtures but I make all my baking goods from scratch and it does not live up to my needs or expectations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cynthia27 from Disappointed Bought this in March, but after using it for 3 times, the mixer is over heat, with some smoke and funny smell. I called and emailed your customer service team, but no one reply to me in four weeks. Is the warranty applicable or not?
