Rated 3 out of 5 by Wike from Good and bad Compact and come with storage box. Easy to attach everything and use. However the issue of the food chopper(food processor) attachment giving me a hard time. Process some celery and carrot and suddenly the lid of the food chopper can't be open. Have tried a lot of method still can't get it open. Had filed for warranty still waiting for the information if I actually gonna get it cover or i actually losing money after just bbn purchase this item 1.5 months ago. Very angry and sad as I paid around $190 for this to hope it work well and easy base on it was quite a well known brand but disappointed me after the second time use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Martin from Thought it would be better Have only used the hand blender with food processor jugs - they are suction sealed which I found popped off mid blend with both kale (alone) and then HOT roasted tomatoes (alone). Not safe! Also, hard to un-suck seal when finished!! Go figure!! It should have a click in seal so its secure and easier to open and close. Don't have any other Kitchen Aid products. Wanted to buy the big Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer but if the quality is anything to go buy with this product, I will be looking elsewhere. Bought online. Would now have gone in store and probably ended up with a different brand. Also, didn't chop kale fine enough!

Rated 1 out of 5 by SueB from Very disappointed - poor quality I purchased this hand blender from DJs. It has always had this ‘ feature where the chopper blade will slightly ‘dislodge’ while in use and then make a huge noise. The blade has scarred the centre metal stem and the surrounding plastic. To add to this ‘feature’ the lid then gets stuck. As well, it does a poor job of chopping things like herbs, small quantities of bread and onions. I’m about to bin it and buy a Kenwood which I previously had. I would not recommend purchase. The blender influenced my recent decision when buying a kitchen mixer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joshua from Poor Execution on Accessories/Adaptors I bought this a replacement for my old Kitchen Aid hand blender that had a few serious quality issues that appeared to have been addressed in this model. Unfortunately the chopper attachement (which I use the most) is not water proof and has now got old water splashing around inside the mechanism. Even ensuring not to submerse in water as the instructions advise, it is impossible to keep it away from liquids 100% in the kitchen. For the price point and what I expect of Kitchen Aid products, this one has missed the mark.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mav6699 from Short life span for a supposedly a quality product I purchased this stick mixer under the assumption that the Kitchenaid brand produced well engineered products that that would last longer than the two year warranty, provided the item was used according to the specifications and for normal domestic use. I examine my appliances before use and noticed that the connecting inner parts being made of plastic require careful assembly to avoid damage, so I was surprised when the chopper failed on its first use. The entire blender kit was replaced as it was still under warranty. The second blender worked beautifully, performed as expected, however a similar issue has occurred one week past the two year warranty. Whilst making a banana and yogurt smoothie, the inner ring did not engage properly, even though the blender was assembled correctly. The connecting plastic parts are now ground down and the star blade no longer rotates. For the price paid, amount of careful use this blender has had (used approximately 200 times) , this product should have lasted well past 2 years and one week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SelinaL from Poor build quality I bought this a month ago, used it once, the second time wouldn't turn on at all. I took it back to Myer and they replaced it (they were going to send it for repair even though I had only physically had the item for less than 7 days due to delivery delays). Got the new one, the red metal section under the rubber handle slips off, but it works. The first time I used it to make a smoothie, the smoothie jug cracked at the base (I didn't drop it, I just followed the instructions). So, quite disappointed with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Julesc from Excellent Service I bought the Kitchen Aid Artisan Deluxe 5 Speed Hand Blender because I had other Kitchen Aid products that I love. Unfortunately, like many others on this review page the plastic mechanism when using the chopper began to wear through making an awful noise and rendering it useless. I only used the chopper a few times and also only with small quantities. I was very surprised. I contacted Kitchen Aid and they were very helpful and replaced the whole kit very quickly and with no fuss. Well done Kitchen Aid, a great way to protect your brand. Thanks. The new one is working fine, although I do feel I have to be particularly (unnecessarily) careful when using the chopper so I don't have a repeat failure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Make things can repair from Broken yet barely used and IMPOSSIBLE to fix!!! I received this as a gift a few years back when I was making soups for my elderly grandfather, however haven't used it much since I received it since he sadly passed away soon after. I tried to use it a few months ago just after we went into an extended lockdown here in Melbourne, and the blades will not rotate. I tried to get it fixed now we're out of lockdown, and was told by multiple repair places that they can't fix cheaply made products. Considering the price this goes for I am shocked that it's considered a cheaply made product. In addition, I found that continually having to press the button while using it was difficult for someone with small hands.
