Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bowl I have wanted the brainless steel bowl ever since I got the mixer. Much lighter and easier to manage than the heavy glass bowl. Glad I bought this bowl.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl arrived faulty, can't use. I purchased this bowl on sale as I have a baking business and having an extra bowl means I can get onto the next batch of whatever I'm making quickly. The rubbish that arrived, I have no words for. Absolute rubbish. A faulty bowl, misshapen, a crack in the top rim - 0% food safe for making things for home let alone a business. KitchenAid, I adore my mixer that I've had for over 10 years but I don't think I would purchase another one (I was looking at a commercial mixer) seeing the quality of this bowl. So disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supper happy It’s so easy to make some dough or whipping something different. Quality is bit different than original bowl but still good ( I bought my extra bowl in David Jones shop) . But I think the price 99.- its bit expensive for the bowl only.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl comes loose during mixing/dough. I used to sell KitchenAid and love the product. My glass bowl some how broke so I purchased this bowl at David Jones. Upon making dough ( I think it was pasta). The bowl came lose and my beater was damaged. I called KitchenAid spoke with a lovely lady and forward my DJ reciept, thinking I had a faulty bowl. At that same time of lodging my claim, I also purchased a new dough hook. After a month or so I tried to follow up with KitchenAid customer service, and low behold they had no record of my complaint. And apparently the claim number I was given, was a receipt number for the purchase of the new dough hook. I adjusted my machine thinking maybe the attachment needed realigning. Tried to make cake and the bowl came lose again and broke yet another attachment. I am beyond disappointed with this bowl. The small bowl is fine. I need the large bowl for cooking. My KitchenAid is now a dust collector.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality of the new bowls Like many others, my original bowl is amazing and is now over 10 years old. The second bowl o purchased a few years ago is just terrier and does not stay attached to the base when making dough. One of the lugs is flat and the bowl slips no matter how hard I lock it into place. Such a shame that this premium quality brand is letting their standards slip

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent . Steel Bowl for Tilt Head Stand Mixer. The Steel Bowl is so much easier to use because of its lightness compared to the Glass Bowl. I found the glass bowl too heavy after mixing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful accessories Bought a second mixing bowl for a friend who uses her mixer all the time. She loved it, because she only one bowl. A very happy customer. One day I will buy a mixer!
