Rated 5 out of 5 by Josh from Love the Stand Mixer Had one of these before back in Canada and bought the Australian version for my kitchen here. Works just as expected and is a piwerhouse in the kitchen. The only one thing that would be useful is a quick note to come with the unboxing re: the spring on the cam arm. As of late 2016, the locking mechanism that holds the beater or whisk does not come with a spring or retention washer. At first I thought this was a manufacturing defect, but a quick google search told me otherwise. While kitchenaid has not updated their literature, it would be helpful to include a half page insert just explaining that this is to be expected. Overall though, the machine is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kitchylady from So Pretty and quiet, the Rolls Royce of mixers! I got this mixer for Xmas and I was not disappointed. The quality of the machine is as I expected from KitchenAid. Love love it. Much quieter than cheap mixers, the connectors for accessories are stronger than cheap mixers too, which again as I would expect of these mixers. It looks great and I love using it! The only con that i have noticed is that the pouring cover it comes with is very flimsy and does not stop overflow of dry ingredients which I found out on my first use, now i make sure I do a little dry at a time and add wet to stop this. The only way KitchenAid could make this any better is to have an overflow cover than fits over the bowl without the space that the pouring cover has!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steph from Time-tested Reliability My mom had a similar KitchenAid mixer for many years, as did my best friend, and both could not speak highly enough of their mixers. I have many happy memories using my mom’s mixer and I’m so happy I now have one of my own. It is everything I wanted and more. I’m already making lots of beautiful messes and delicious treats with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by viv_ot7 from Black Residue? I just received my Artisan Stand Mixer in the Almond Cream colour! I have yet to try it out, but I bought it since I've started baking recently, in particular making macarons :)) The only thing that concerns me is that the wire whisk attachment has black residue when I touch it, even though I've already carefully hand washed it. If it isn't stainless steel like KitchenAid claims, and instead a metal such as aluminium that would explain it. I searched that black residue from metals such as aluminium isn't harmful however I'm extremely disappointed that KitchenAid's claims are not reflected in its products and that they've compromised the quality of their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Justin from Most beautiful machine I own I was gifted my KitchenAid for my 30th birthday from my husband, I’m a chef/baker/pastry chef and had dreamed of owning one of these babies for about 20 years. I absolutely love it and use it for nearly everything I do in my kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jordy from The best kitchen addition! I received this as a gift for my birthday from my family and I was over the moon. I love baking cakes from my new Beatrix Bakes cook book (a well known Melbourne cafe) and over lockdown for COVID19 it has been the perfect gift. I am able to do my cake batters, buttercreams and sourdough all in the Kitchen Aid. I can't wait to try the pasta maker and meat grinder for a burger/pasta night. My mum had a kitchen aid when I was growing up and I've always wanted one of my own. The almond cream colour is so classic, and the quality of the base and mechanics are incomparable. Would highly recommend to any food lovers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sonu from It’s very helpful RIGHT hand of my kitchen arsenal Finally I have got this attractive and dashing Empire Red Kitchenaid machine on my birthday in April. It’s in my wish list since I was good blogger back in 2008 era :) Now I use almost every other day to make our Roti, Parantha, Thepla (all kind of Indian flatbreads) and all kind of cake batters too. I am still learning everyday and trying to get best of this machine. Why I did I choose this machine over other brands? It’s because there is no rubber ring/gasket in Kitchenaid stand mixer so when machine run for prolong time you won’t get that burning smell like other powerful machines. It’s only 300 Watts but works really well for everything. I am thinking to get pasta maker attachment sometime soo. to try my hands to make Indian snacks/savouries and noodles that we make from Besan (Chickpea flour) and other flours. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. And I’m sure it will last with me for years! Happy mixing and cooking!
