Lives up to its name and reputation
I did a lot of research before deciding to invest in a kitchenaid. I took the plunge and purchased the KSM177 only 3 days ago. The clear shield was missing from the box but a quick call to the customer service ans they sent a replacement out. I have already made cupcakes, biscuits, bread and a zucchini slice and every single one turned out better then it had before I had the Kitchenaid. It's important to note that I did not have anything else before, just a stick mixer and my own hands. I wish I didn't resist buying one until now, it's amazing. It's so much quieter then I was expecting too. I'm hoping this is the kind of appliance that I will have for a lifetime and be able to hand down to my daughter.

Omg ! I’m in love!!!
I purchased the day after Christmas as I was using a old mixer to just whip cream on Xmas day and I only had a small bowl which took ages . So I brought one for my daughter(pink) and one for myself .
Why have I waited so long ? now I can’t wait to get more attachments.

Super Mixer!
This was a gift two weeks ago, and I was so excited to receive it. I love baking and so have already enjoyed using it a few times. I really appreciate how quiet it is compared to my previous mixmaster of another brand. It effortlessly and quickly mixes a big cake mix that in the past always ended up around the beater stems and into the shafts and frame and was fiddly to deal with. Now I just start at low speed and increase to mix without having to stop and start and keep scraping the mixture down off the stems.
It’s not perfect at scraping the bottom of the basin, but this is a minor issue compared to the nice look and ease of use the machine offers. I am also looking forward to adding the ice cream maker to my collection.

Better than older model
Unfortunately my previous kitchen aid (20yrs) just broke. The bowl slipped and jammed into the stand. Could not budge the bowl or even lift the arm up. Cried and immediately went out to buy a kitchen aid. The bowl fits much more securely. Made a cake. Yay! Should have used the attachment with the rubber guide as it would have saved me scraping the bowl down when creaming butter and sugar. The instruction book provided didn’t mention its use. I discovered it on the internet and will use it next time. The paint finish seems much improved.

Brilliant machine
My wife bought for me as I have wanted one for a while now. I set it up and made my first batch of choc chip cookies. A brilliant machine. Quiet and so versatile will all the attachments you get. Easily interchangeable heads and easy to clean as well. Definitely worth the money.

I’m absolutely in love with this new machine
I previously owned a sunbeam mixmaster which lasted for 34 years and I haven’t had another mixmaster for a couple of years until I decided last week to purchase the beautiful red ksm177.

A quality product
This mixer is obviously a quality product. Easy to use and looks great. I bought it as I wanted a mixer which scraped the bowl. Unfortunately I still have to stop the mixer and scrape the sides of the bowl, even using the scraper blade. Also sometimes the space under the blades, a small amount of food collects and is missed. Overall it does a good job, but I am a little disappointed....especially as it was an expensive purchase.

Pretty Colour
I can’t believe that the colour is even more beautiful than shown online, and I have enjoyed using it so far. The splatterguard has saved my kitchen tiles from so much mess.
Overall it’s been good to use, only issue is the blades don’t reach right to the sides and bottom like other machines. Also our bowl arrived with a big dint in the side.
