Rated 5 out of 5 by Ebbb from Love It I bought the KitchenAid Multi-Cooker last winter, I was after a slow cooker and all my appliances are KitchenAid brand. I read a LOT of review about the slow cooker "not being any good due to the dodgy lid". Went to a store with intention on purchasing the slow cooker anyway, and walked out with a Multi-Cooker. I have no issues with the temperatures and all in all, it is FANTASTIC!! The only thing I'd love to add to it though is the option to slow cook on high, as it only has slow cook low. But, to get around this I just monitor timing and turn to "bake 175" for the last hour. My corned beef, turkey legs (broken to fit) etc ALWAYS come out so tender and fall apart!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kelbel from Great features but could be bigger I love it but searing can only be done in small batches.. great for soups and I did a soup on slow cook with the stir tower and didn’t even need to blend it... looks great and I love the timer function - great to start to cook when I get home from night shift and set to finish and keep warm while I am sleeping. I would like to see more recipes available

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrs B from I LOVE this thing!! I've had my multi-cooker for two years now. I originally was after the KitchenAid Slow Cooker (98% of my kitchen appliances are KitchenAid so this brand is where I naturally look first for things), but after reading a LOT of poor reviews about its lid and seeing it in person I was planning on purchasing any other slow cooker besides the KitchenAid one - walked out with this mother of a machine and do not regret it at all!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mariew from Kitchenaid multicook with stir tower I bought it a few days ago. There are few instructions . The brochure card for the instructions demonstrates little effort to explain to consumer how to get the most out of product. In my opinion, at that price point, there must be a nice cooking book to explain the usage properly. It is a shame that ktchenAid did not put this effort. I m still in the dark how to use it. I tried risotto last night and could not understand how to move to step 2. At the end I just went up with temperature and used timer. Also there should be some tips on dos. I also purchased a thermomix 7 years ago. That came with an everyday cookbook. After a month of using it, I was able to adapt most of my recipes because I had learned the basis using the cooking book provided. How can I recommend a product I have trouble using.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marie W from Disappointed I purchased this a year ago and feel it is an absolute waste of money. I cooked risottos and casseroles in this less than ten times. I used only a soft silicone spatula and a soft cloth sponge to clean the bowl, but despite this, the bowl is scratched and that lovely Teflon Like coating probably ended up in our food. The stir tower is not really a must either. It just moves the food around and it does not stir. I have a few kitchen aid appliances and love them all but this is a complete disaster. I m so disappointed with this. I wished I actually had believed the bad reviews about this product rather than to try and convince myself that it was nonsense. Please do yourself a favour and just buy yourself a reasonably priced slow cooker, take them extra ten minutes to brown your meats and fry your onions the old fashioned way.
