Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Cheap and nasty I wouldn’t normally review, but since I was asked, I have the following comments: I have the stand mixer, toaster and kettle and love them all. My food processor died, so I thought I’d buy a trusted brand. I don’t use one much, but I do use it on occasion, so I went for a small model. Couldn’t get it to work. My husband couldn’t either. The shop assistant couldn’t, but her colleague could (after some fiddling) and the store manager. By that time I was over it and wanted a refund which they refused to do, so we compromised and paid a 20% penalty. Very disappointed and not sure whether the larger size would be any better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thomas from Very nice feel It is a nice product, a solid feel and a very nice solid sound when being use, not empty and clackity sound. I have many kitchenaid products, all their blenders can be improved by the way the lids closes, eg, they general can be close from one side only and must be in a certainposition, and must turn one way, it would be nice if it can close from any position and turn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suziej from Excellent, compact and powerful I have just bought this food processor and initially thought it may be too small for my needs. However after processing a black bean chocolate cake in the processor, I am impressed. It also grinds the carrots and onions with ease. It took me a minute to work out how to unlock the lid, but am now expert at it. Very impressed with the compactness and the power. My pasta sauce, hamburgers, fritters, meatballs, quiches, etc are now a breeze to whiz up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sons from Works well, nice n quiet, plastic bowl is a bummer Finally purchased a kitchen aid 'mini' to get me through, after trying 'cheap' processors....this does the job well, which I am happy with, and quickly, it's not too noisy, and well packaged... I like the use of the pulse at the lid, however... I have the same views as others the 'plastic/acrylic' mixing bowl feels very cheap, thin and flimsy, and poor quality, I doubt it will last long, hope I don't drop it!... and it is really tricky to line the bowl up with the base and to get the lid off, I feel if the bowl material were thicker this wouldn't be an issue...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hend from Disappointing This little unit replaced my beloved Sunbeam Oskar 400 which has stood me in good stead for more than 20 years. It's still working but I imagined that the purchase of a KitchenAid would be the bees knees, having such a good reputation. Sadly, no. This Mini food processor is not a patch on the Sunbeam Oskar. Unfortunately, they don't make them any more. The bowl of the Kitchen Aid Mini is difficult to get off and on. The pressure thing onthe lid to commence chopping and/or blending is erratic. I press with my thumb. Nothing happens. Press a little harder and the whole unit just about takes off! I don't like it but I guess I'm stuck with it. It's such a disappointment after my high hopes it would be a valid replacement for the Sunbeam.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annie from Small but packs a punch! Just got it 3 days ago and very happy with my purchase. Small enough to leave out on the bench, easy to clean, chops in seconds. Great for onion, garlic, carrots, celery and sauces. Very happy. Quality product. Anne

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clare from Very Fast & Easy I owned the smaller mini chopper and it stopped working twice, the second time one month after the warranty was up. This mini is much faster and cleaner. It chopped walnuts and dried cranberries prefectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HeyPesto! from Quiet & super efficient My husband bought this for me after my very ancient but trusty small food processor's motor died. I'd got a new large replacement food processor but it just wasn't the same - too big for pestos and smaller quantities of ingredients. This KitchenAid chopper does the job of the old faithful, only better and quieter - a really great little machine! It's small enough to store easily too.
