Rated 4 out of 5 by SafetyOz from Good but........... I have had this appliance for several weeks and there are a couple of design improvements to consider. I understand the different knob designs that distinguish between the lifting mechanism and the "temperature" slider but they are very close together and it is too easy to hit both. This is annoying when you have spent time achieving the preferred temperature. This would be less of a problem if the temperature know clicked into position so there was more resistance. Thn only other "First World" problem that the High Lift should be greater.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bloke Guy from KitchenAid are SPAMers The enamel is easy to wipe down and clean. The cord is thick and of high quality. The let down is the SPAM attempt from KitchenAid. KitchenAid require you to register for their warranty and make it a condition in their terms that you must subscribe to their newsletter in the process. As part of their terms they also state they can supply my contact details to other third parties and affiliates. NO - I just want to register the warranty! Don't use my information for SPAM marketing, or sell my information to other companies thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daisy from A few flaws I had to buy online. If I had seen the toaster I would have seen that it doesn’t hold thin bread securely enough. They just slip through to the bottom. Also a case of form over function. The toaster looks good but the indicators are too small and hard to read. If I remove the ugly white sticker the controls make no sense to anyone using my toaster until they are familiar with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeeV from Great toasting experiences I bought this a few weeks ago and am so happy with everything, it is slim line, toasts were well and looks good too. Adjustments are on the side which fits perfectly for our toaster placing and colour goes very well with our engineered stone, which is creamy white colour. Overall we noticed that this does more even toasting and bread is more tasty with this toaster; sounds strange but it is the case. I would recommend this toaster to anyone who wants a good toaster.

The only downside is the outside plastic cover and the metal opening is abit higher than toaster itself and when it gets hot you have to be careful not to touch it when you want to take out your toast. But in other aspects it has been working well for about two months so far! I like the slit design which works in any direction you put it. Also, if the tray was at the same side of other function buttons that would be great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jewls57 from As good as most but nothing outstanding I purchased my first "2 slice Long Slot 100 Year Queen of Hearts Toaster" in late 2019 and it was disappointing right from the start. It was unbelievably slow and NEVER toasted well. I purchased the first "Queen of Hearts" toaster in late 2019. It performed very poorly and ceased functioning at all by January 2020. I returned it to the seller, it was sent away for repair but in the end it was simply replaced. The replacement toaster is equally disappointing. Doesn't toast at all on normal setting. Toasts OK but extremely slow if "defrost" mode is used, whether or not the bread is frozen. Basically, it is the worst kitchen or electric small appliance of any type I have ever owned. I would not recommend KitchenAid to anyone and frankly I can't even imagine how this particular item even made it into the stores. Clearly it could not possibly have been tried and tested before release onto the market. I would not waste my time with another KitchenAid toaster and I have accepted that KitchenAid is unlikely to offer a refund so I intend to cut my losses and buy another brand. Even the cheapest of brands at least "toast" bread and manage to do it in a reasonable time. Unfortunately I also purchased the kettle at the same time. ONLY so the applianced matched, haha, sucked in !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Belladog2000 from Toasts great! I purchased this as my other toaster died on me. As I have other Kitchenaid products that are great I looked into their toaster range. I love the various settings and the slim design which fits in the cupboard so well. Might be a bit more expensive than other brands, but worth it for quality.
