GOOD FEATURES
Fairly happy with this toaster. Although it does not have a leaver to lift small size toast up when finished to be able to get hold of. Also I can never understand why no toaster seems to be able to gook evenly on both sides. and this is true even for this quality toaster. I probably would have expected better from purchasing this more expensive toaster

Brilliant Toaster
I bought this toaster about 3 weeks ago and so glad that I did. For the first time in years the crumpets are golden brown and crispy, my toast is golden brown all over - not patchy or the edges not toasted, plus both sides are the same lovely golden brown colour. I found middle of the dial the perfect setting to achieve this. The buzzer is a pleasant reminder whilst I'm busy that my toast is ready & the buzzer is not too loud. I have yet to use the keep warm function.
This is The Best toaster I have ever had. I can genuinely Highly Recommend it. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

Uneven toasting
I've only had this toaster a couple of days but so far it's toasting is extremely uneven. One side of the bread toasts much faster and to get the top browned, the bottom must be burnt. I am thinking of returning it to see if it's a problem with this particular toaster. I expected more (even toasting!) from a toaster this expensive.

Faulty
I bought this toaster a month ago and used it only once before it ceased working. I suspect the wiring is faulty as there is no response at all despite the power being on. It is brand new but the irony is that I had decided to upgrade to KitchenAid products believing them to be of the highest quality, as their prices would suggest. In fairness I suspect I am just unlucky in this instance, however irritating it is, but I must add that I was not impressed by the customer service. I waited 35 minutes on hold until I could no longer tolerate the recorded spruiking of products and resorted to sending an email which was recommended. KitchenAid replied with a general email stating they will attend to my query within 10 business
days. I know COVID-19 has affected many
aspects of doing business but I was nevertheless
surprised at the delay and hope this can be attended to as quickly as possible. Fortunately it is only a toaster. Thank you

Luxury toast!
In these uncertain times a little luxury goes a long way.
My daily dose of luxury comes with my fabulous Kitchen Aid Toaster.
There is nothing better than watching the finely tanned golden crumpets ascending from my favourite appliance.

Great Performer
The KitchenAid 2 slice Classic toaster is a well designed,solidly built appliance. The toaster is easy to use and toasts a variety of breads quickly and evenly. The chime that sounds when the toast is cooked is very handy. Crumpets cook quite well using the designated button. The defrost and keep warm options are worthwhile inclusions.
