Rated 1 out of 5 by mitchok from Worst Food Processor We purchased from Myer in Jan 2019. Also purchased the dicing attachment. Used three times... drive shaft extension got stuck to shaft which required a shop visit. Returned from shop with a new lid and missing shaft adapter. Attempted to use with multipurpose blade (doesn't require shaft adapter)... except lid doesn't fit now. White insert in lid is defective and doesn't allow lid to seat properly. We are done... wish we could just get our $467.60 back. All up... probably have been able to use it less than 6 times. We had a Cuisinart for 20 years and never had an issue... sorry we switched. Easier to use a knife.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disgusted from Unhygienic badly designed. Given all the negative reviews I’ve read here and elsewhere it teaches me to read them before buying. This product is impossible to clean hygienically, and I am not squeamish. The lid has parts that collect food but there’s no easy way to get at it to clean. The gunk just builds up a breeding ground for bacteria and mould. I’m hoping someone gets sick and Sue’s. No instructions to help only spin about how easy it is to clean all the other bits. We’ve tried everything. The guy on YouTube got it apart after 8 minutes of anxiety, knowing it had to break, if not this time but one of the next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NixCat from Works really well So far this machine has done everything I have tasked it with. I was a bit worried reading the reviews with people saying parts fused but with normal use this has not been a problem. Love it! Would have been good if it came with a cook book to get you started as this is my first food processor and I'm struggling with that side a bit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SHEN from New food processor I have had my new food processor for a week and have tried all the bits. It feels more light and flimsy than my previous Artisan Food Processor. I had the previous one for 10 years and it was still going strong except that the lid and bowl were cracked and parts are no longer available. The new one works well and I really like the 3 part feed tube/pusher and the variable slicer. The buttons require a lot of pressure to turn it on or off and I can only do it with my thumbs. I am concerned about how well it will last given that I use it nearly every day. I also have an Artisan Stand Mixer which I use a lot including to make all our bread. It is still going well after nearly 10 years and I hope it will see me out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Beth88 from Looks great but poor performance My husband bought this for me for my birthday. It looks great and suits my kitchen perfectly. Performance wise, it's like the blades are completely blunt, right from 1st use. The regular blade pulverised half the contents to dust and left the rest whole, it would have been quicker to chop it up by hand by the time I had to keep removing the contents and putting the uncut bits back in. The way that it starts slow then gets faster tends to pick up the contents and spin them round the bowl rather than cut them. The slice attachment doesn't go thin enough, even on the thinnest setting it's very thick. It's like trying to force food through a blunt blade. My arm was killing me after slicing a couple of onions and potatoes. And I'm youngish and fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Caught from Not Quite KitchenAid We have used this food processor about once per week for three years, probably no more than a hundred activations in total. One day it simply didn't work, without apparent cause, and has never worked since. It was clearly an electrical or electronic fault of some time, not a mechanical failure. Although of reasonably good quality finish, the unit simply did not offer us the reliability that one would expect of the KitchenAid brand (and price point). We considered a repair but, once long regional drives and time was factored in, the repair support in our region would end up costing us more than a new machine was worth. We decided to replace the machine and looked at other food processors in the market. But here's the thing: we really liked the functionality and utility of our original KitchenAid food processor, and it was just the right size for us. So, in spite of effectively rewarding poor reliability, we decided to replace it with the same model. Perhaps that is a foolish choice, paying a second time for a product and repair network that let us down, but perhaps our experience of unreliable electronic components was just a one-off. I would definitely recommend this product for its design and utility, but don't expect the same reliability from the KitchenAid brand that they once offered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnabelC from Love it! I have had this for a month and love it so much! The blades are super sharp and slice, shred and process in seconds. I also have the dicing kit which is amazing for chopping large quantities of vegetables. The first time I used it, it took me a while to work out which bits went where when using the various attachments but now that I know it only takes a second to set up. The capacity is perfect for every day cooking. It takes a minute or two to wash up by hand. I would definitely recommend.
