Makes: 4 cups; 2 to 3 smoothies
- 1 large frozen banana
- 2 fresh kiwis, skin removed
- 5 large leaves kale leaves, ribs discarded and leaves roughly torn
- 1 1/2 cups ice-cold water or coconut water
- 1/2 cups greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- ice cubes
Add the frozen banana chunks, the kiwi, kale, water, yogurt, honey, and almond butter into your K400 blender. Blend on smoothie function until smooth. Pour into 2 or 3 tall glasses and serve immediately.
To freeze banana chunks, peel the bananas, slice them in 2.5cm pieces, and lay them in a single layer on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Once frozen through, scoop them into a plastic bag and keep them handy for smoothies in the refrigerator.
